Manufacturing Uniforms

Solutions Ranging from Safety and Protection to Morale and Image

At G&K Services, we serve a wide range of industries across North America, and we know through experience that manufacturing industries have their own set of unique needs and requirements. G&K offers products and services to meet the needs of all manufacturing segments, including basic resource, machinery, consumable, printing, chemical, and food processing.

A uniform rental and facility products and services program with G&K helps address the varying business needs within manufacturing, including:

Employee Safety: At G&K, we help you protect your best asset—your employees. Our uniform and facility products and services help protect employees from job hazards present in the manufacturing industry, such as slips and falls, arc flashes, dust, oil, grease, and harsh chemicals.

Employee Morale: In businesses with uniforms, employees have a greater sense of teamwork and commitment to company goals.*

Employee Productivity: Ensure that your employees feel comfortable and safe by outfitting them in appropriate apparel for their job task. This will eliminate lost work time due to injuries, which will help drive cost savings for your business.

Brand and Facility Protection: Uniforms help identify who should or should not be within specific work areas. Uniforms also are an integral part of a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program, which helps prevent cross-contamination and food-borne illness outbreaks. G&K’s food apparel line was carefully chosen to help reduce opportunities for food contamination.

Meeting Regulations: Flame-resistant and high-visibility apparel require laundering processes that follow specific time, temperature, and chemical protocols appropriate to the unique fabric characteristics of the garments. There are many regulations facing the manufacturing industry, including OSHA 29 CFR 1910.132, NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, ANSI Class 107, GFSI’s BRC, and GFSI’s SQF audit standards. Our products meet these regulations and will help you avoid fines and citations.

We recognize that your business is your key focus, and, in many cases, you wear multiple hats. At G&K, we are committed to delivering Service Excellence, which allows you to focus on what you do best, while we focus on what we do best. With this commitment, we will also make sure your employees project a professional image, feel comfortable throughout their day, and remain safe.

Whether you chose to rent and/or buy, G&K has a wide range of work and casual apparel, safety solutions, accessories, and facility products and services to meet your needs.
