1902: Gross & Kronick brothers found G&K Services

 

 

1943: Gross Bros. & Kronicks shorten the company name to G&K

 

 

1969: Becomes a public company 

 

 

1970: Geographic expansion begins into Central and Midwest

 

 

1989: Implements proprietary Accutrak® system, ensuring complete and accurate deliveries 

 

 

1990: Expands products and services into Canada, becoming a multinational company 

 

 

1996: Forms its direct purchase division that would become GKdirect® 

 

 

1997: Acquires National Linen Service to better serve customers in the Southeast 

 

 

2002: Celebrates 100th year of servicing customers 

 

 

2006: Launches GK ProTect® safety solutions 

 

 

2007: Handheld technology ensures billing is simple, accurate and predictable 

 

 

2010: Teams with J.D. Motorsports to sponsor the #01 Chevrolet Nationwide® Team (now the Chevrolet XFINITY® Team)

2014: Launches GKhealthcare to meet the needs of the healthcare industry throughout North America
